Old bra, new look

As you can see I started off with an old white bra that's actually a few sizes too small but before I donated it I thought why not spice it up a bit make it catch your eye.

I started out by taking circle stickers and randomly placing 8 on each cup.

Then I traced around each circle and colored it in with my choice colors.( fabric markers of course)

Color those circles in and tada! You have a brand new bra. To make it look even better do a different design, add some lace, color on stripes... The possibilities are endless!

No post for awhile

I just got out of surgery so it might be a few weeks before I can get any more post up. Sorry!

Fourth of July nails kinda late though

What you need:
Red nail polish
Blue nail polish
White nail polish
Tooth pick
Tape

First I painted all my nails red. I waited for it to dry then taped it at an angle. Press down to make sure the tape is one there good. Then I painted my nail blue. After the blue dried I removed the tape. I dipped a tooth pick in the white nail polish and made sure there was a lot on it! Then slowly drew a line between the red and blue. There you have it red, white, and blue nails!(sorry no pics I didn't decide to post this until after I finished it)

Super smooth legs

Want super smooth legs? Then make this!
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
3 tbs of lemon juice
Mix together.
1) Fist shave your legs.
2)Then apply the mixture and massage your legs with it. Then rinse it off.
3) shave legs again. You'll be surprised all the nasty goo that comes off. Rinse the razor frequently, it's best to use a different razor for each leg.
4) apply mixture again and massage in some more. Rinse it all off.
5) apply lotion
6) enjoy your oh so soft legs!
This is great to use on any part of the body! It works great too.

DIY coco lip scrub

The other day I noticed I had chapped lips and I've never used lip scrub before so I decided I'd try it. So as always I made it myself.
Things you need:
Small jar
Coco power
Sugar
Brown sugar
Olive oil
Steps
First I added a little olive oil into my jar. I'm a big fan of olive oil I use it nonstop! It just makes my skin so soft. Then after the olive oil I added scoops of sugar and brown sugar until I got the consistency I wanted. You don't really need to measure everything out just guess. Then I added one tablespoon of coco power. I added coco power because I heard it is also really good for your skin and it smells so good! Warning though don't try this I got some in my mouth and it was really nasty! But it made my lips oh so soft I really do recommend it. Also you can add honey too I was out so I didn't add it.

IT'S YELLOW SPARKLY PICTURE FRAME TIME!

So this is what I spent most of my Wednesday afternoon on. I'll explain how I did it. I forgot to bring my camera outside to show it step by step:( BUT here we go! I started out with a wooden unfinished picture frame from a local craft shop. I spray painted it yellow. In all I used like five coats of paint. It took FOREVER to dry. It was matte paint also. I took clear tape and attempted to make even stripes down the frame. Then I got out my homemade Mod Podge. http://doityourselfdivas.blogspot.com/2011/09/diy-mod-podge.html here's a site to tell you how to make your own, it works great! I put my Mod Podge all over the uncovered areas then took silver glitter and mixed it with the glue. Once I was satisfied with the glitter I let it dry in the sun. After drying time was over, which was about two hours, I spray glossy finish all over. After the finish dried I took the tape off. What I got was a matte and gloss stripe affect, which I thought was really neat!
Here you can see a better up close look at it.

So for my very first post i decided to just spice up an old dollar tree picture frame. So I forgot to take before and after pictures but before this was just a plain black picture frame. I took scotch tape (i ran out of painters  tape) and I made like candy cane like pattern. I don't really know how to explain but you can see what I'm talking about by the picture. I was going to spray paint it yellow but i ran out so instead I decided to go with a silver color I found. I ended up loving it! I only had to use one coat. After it dried i pealed the tape away. Some paint had gotten under the tape but it gave it a distressed look that I love! I ended up framing my crayon art in my new chic frame. I'll do a tutorial on it later. Who would have thought I bought this frame for only a dollar?
